A Family Tradition.

In 1956, William (“Bill”) G. Hofgard moved to Boulder, Colorado, to start his insurance company and employee benefits agency. Today, founder Bill Hofgard's business continues with the recent sale to long time employee, James Marsh.

The Hofgard tradition of trustworthy business transactions began over a hundred years ago. When the Hofgard family homesteaded in the Rocky Mountain West, Bill’s goals were to help other families, businesses, and employees reach their financial planning, insurance protection, and estate preservation goals through a variety of solutions. That philosophy continues today.

Many of the photos throughout this website are of Henry C. Hofgard, a ranch foreman in the Nebraska Sandhills in the 1890s.
